Deadlands focuses on dark fiction in all its forms, including horror, dark fantasy, ghost stories, the supernatural, and similar themes.
These stories are short enough to read in a single sitting. Most are 1,500 words or less, which puts them into the “flash fiction” or “micro fiction” category.
But despite their brevity, flash fiction stories can be thought-provoking with a lasting emotional impact. They tend to resonate long after the final word.
Note: These stories are intended for young adults and adults, but not children.
